Get a GM Credit Card..and use it...tell her yer spending all that money to help buy her a new car....she'll forget about it sooner or later....lol

Tell her you need some parts for the truck so it can work properly in the winter and wont die off on the street with the cold weather.

"I'm gonna need an extra battery, (sounds resonable) a bigger camshaft , traction bars for the snow , and some other minor things..."

She probably wont know what the hell you are talking about and be okay with it.

 

My girlfriend buys a lot of my stuff for my truck, and if i tell her i'm getting something else, she don't say too much, just ask what i'm gonna get her. But everything i get her, benefits me in some way. Started out my hurst shifter, bought her car a cd player, i need tunes. Nitrous for the truck, intake for the car, gets better gas mileage when we go on trips. Tinted windows for the truck, same for the car. taillights for the truck, full tank of gas for the car. detail the truck, detail the car. That way i'm always riding around in a half way decent car. Even though it is a zx2 escort....

 

Tell her this is your hobby and a as a good wife she support your hobbies within resonable limits.

 

My wife dosent really give two ***** about peace and hunger, and your right my truck did cost more than a new gto, and if i told her i was buyin her a car she would **** herself (bad thing) and as far as shes concerned its never too late to take somthing back, but the hobby thing I like. And its true.

My girlfriend is a poor college student, I give her $20 for gas, or pay her cell phone bill ($50) and I am god

She loves driving the truck, and I warned her that the modding will not stop if there is extra money around.
