this is my first truck that me and my grandpa put together when i was in junior high.1984 chevy that we did all the body work and paint. rebuilt a motor with a comp cam. then it ended with a crate 350 and a t56 when it was tore apart and sold.

so this was my 1980 gmc 3/4 ton with the crate 350 from the 84 in it. had dana 44 axels with 4:10 gears. put down in two low and would leave some nice long black marks with thos 35" tires. trying to buy it back

I miss my 1980 Dodge Mirada. Bought it not running, and grandpa, fresh, then threw the baddest motor I could build in it. 340 stroked and poked to 431 inches, solid roller, Dick Landy heads, single plane with a methanol 850 Holley HP, 11.5:1 on E85, 727 Tourqueflite full manual reverse valve body with 3800 stall, 4.56 gears and a spool, went 11.43 and got kicked out for not having a roll bar.
Its last day, I was sitting at a stoplight, and a brand new mustang GT pulls up next to me and does the nod. Light turns green, I take off easy so as not to completely kill the tires, and then mash it and stomp his nuts out. Start slowing down to about 60 or so, and he does the ricer fly-by. "Oh hell no" so not thinking, I crammed the gated shifter into 1st. Saw the tach hit at least 8,000
. Thought I came out ok, and drove it home. Came out the next morning and started it up and it was knocking bad. Bent the crank. Long story short, I never got it put back together, and sold the chassis. I kick myself every day for that.

Go easy on me, I looked goofy in high school. Still look goofy lol.
