It was for a short time. Straight off the street to the dyno (30 minutes drive) with no meth, water, or anything.. it did 600/600 to the wheels on a mere 12psi. It was fun. I only put 300 miles on the $15k turbo build (and I got some of my stuff at cost or free) and then I torew it down to stock and sold it all. Car included. Bad times. I dumped about $70k into that thing when I got wrapped up in the local street thing back in 2001-2003. Back then all the parts were prototypes and we were paying $2500 for ported stock heads, $500/ cam. hell, I had the first set of Eagle H beam rods and had to ask questions the eagle engineers didnt even know because they didnt know the stock LS cranks dont have a fillet on the rod journals like the SBCs do.

My ******** Step-Dad and I rebuilt the car from the ground up, took a 350 out of an old Nova my Grandma had and rebuilt it also for the power plant.

We finished it in August of 1984 and the ******* sold it for $1800 cash and a brand new Browing 30.06 some time that September.

I moved out in October and lived with different friends through High School and have only been back to visit my Mom, I talk to my Step Dad, but to this day I have never forgiven him.

Wish I could find more pics of the build process.

Cragar SS/T's...I had those heavy *** wheels on my 71 Camaro, man those things got hot fast after just a few stabs at the brakes

I miss my all original 71 Cutlass, blew a head gasket 6 months ago and no funding.

For the car I miss that I don't have anymore would be my rare black coupe 03 Cobra with tan swede.
