Mine would have to be my old 86 Mustang. Had it 6 years. Bought it wrecked and in black primer. Ran 13.90's w/373's and Flowmasters. 11.90's w/150 shot. Was a 5 speed car, swapped to built AOD and 3600 stall. Went through 3 interiors, 5 shortblocks, 3 transmissions, and 2 or 3 rears over that time frame. When all was said and done it was perfectly driveable by anyone, even my wife, LOL, and ran 10.20's anywhere/anytime with 18psi of Vortech boost. Only change I made from street to strip "tune" was running straight 118 octane Torco and 28* total timing at track, to 93 octane and maybe 17-18* total timing on street. Ran 11.30's w/"street" tune.

Most memorable moment was out cruising on a cold winter Saturday, driving around on stock rims, and annihilating a modded Grand National on a local highway when the poor old fellow "assumed" I had just another 5.0 Mustang and insisted on racing me from about a 30mph roll, lol. I came up behind him, then switched lanes to get next to him. From the side you couldn't see any of the 8pt. rollbar, couldn't hear the blower whine (at all), and couldn't see the 5/8" fuel line plumbed to the sumped stock gastank, or the bigass A-1000 Aeromotive fuel pump peeking out behind the rear bumper cover. All he could see was a purple cookie cutter 5.0 Mustang with a fiberglass hood and stock rims, so he was totally unaware of the major asswhooping that he soon got, lol. From 30-130 gave him roughly 10 seconds to realize he screwed up. At the next light I asked if he wanted to try from a dead stop this time...he smiled and declined...gave me the thumb's up and cruised on up the road...

2nd most memorable moment was winning 1st place at a local Mustang Shootout in the power adder/DOT tire class.

Next most missed is my 2000 Camaro SS....11.61@116 with a baby cam and a 3600 stall.

I don't have a picture a 1971 Ford Gran Torino 2dr. with a 351M Ivory white

I bought the car in MINT condition for $300 from a friends dad who hadn't started it in 2 years, AS-IS. Put a fresh battery and it started (fresh fuel, don't stress)

Car was freaking badmutherfugginass! I was 21. Some stupid bitch was in the wrong lane and turned right into me, sealing the driver's door shut permanantly. Still I sold it for a few grand in damaged condition. My friend's dad died shortly later. Very sad.
