I hate walking into Cavenders

Definitely not worth it, unless the boot was more expensive. I had a pair of Luchesse Ropers done, and sent off through Horsetown up around Macon, GA. To get re-soled and have the heels done w/ minor clean-up, it was $190-ish. Depending on how you use/wear them and what kind of boot, they can wear quicker than you might expect. Those you've got will probably last a while.

My dad does this all the time, think about it, you can resole usually for cheaper than buying new, and just use those as work boots. My dad wears full quill ostrich, he usually has them for 5 -10 years before they are worn out. Once that happens we resoles them to a thicker bottom geared more towards work, then when they wear, he trashes them.
It also depends on where you go. His place is cheaper than $75

I bought myself a pair of the patchwork Anderson Beans a few weeks ago from Cavenders. Need to get a new set of Heels on a pair of Double H ice boots, the soles on the Ice boots last forever. I literally wore a pair of the Double H Ice boots out all around the boot, but the sole looked almost brand new. Also need to get a pair of Tony Lama smooth ostrich crepe sole boots resoled.
Been wanting to go back to Cavenders and get me a pair of the Rocky Ride non-steel toe work boots. I wear boots to work everyday, and I hate wearing out my good boots all the time.
