Default I Am Very Thankful For Ballistic Glass

During road testing a repair on a 07 Express van two random piece of debris struck the windshield directly in front of me, one piece made it through the glass and was stopped by the inner ballistic glass. Not sure what the big piece was but it scarrrrred the shoot outta me!

I bet if you had a flashlight like Scott's it would have told you it was coming. Kinda like how GPS tells you the fastest way to get lost.

Good to hear that you weren't hurt.

*Laminate Glass*

But crazy though. I remember back in the 10 years ago, my dad was driving on I-10 and someone dropped a brick from the overpass through the windshield. Scary sheet. Used to hear about that often it seemed.

I was in a 2002ish model ECSB truck when a tornado decided to drop on top of us... something huge struck the windshield shattering it, but it didn't fall in.

Look at the picture with the inside view, notice the outline of the ballistic glass on the left side....
