Economy is bad in CA, really bad. The Silicon Valley is losing tons of jobs. Yahoo, Apple, Intel, Cisco, are all cutting back.

I work for the government, so I would like to believe my job is secure. However, anything can happen.

Things are pretty steady here. Picking back up and going forward slowly. It got really bad for awhile. We are heading into the time of year that used computers sell like hot cakes. We are already getting the calls.

Baybrook mall was pretty damn packed Sunday when I took my broken jack back to Sears to get a new one. Other than UTMB laying off 3000 I haven't heard of too much going on. That's not even an effect of an economic slowdown, its from the hurricane.

My company has cut costs more than usual over the last month. One small example, today the coffee guys came in to get all their equipment since we cancelled the service.
