Here's what it started as:




I filled 4 of these:


Black mold and/or other unsafe and just plain wrong findings:


backside of old power panel = fire damage (minor)


unsafe wiring hidden in wall


ducting full of dirt

some of my work so far:

new laundry location:


Hallway wall complete with recessed nook.....used to be storage cabinets......need the room on the backside for an ensuite:


Entry-way closet finished!


Main kitchen wall framing also complete:


Front bathroom entrance framed.....pocket door removed....ready for standard 24" door:

in-house access framed to be perm covered:


floating studs wall repaired:


single 2x4 and single 2x6 ceiling joists replaced with double 2x6 blocked and hung with joist hangers:


Heres what's going on in the hallway, double 2x6 construction with access ladder, with full 2x6 blocks between the ceiling joists:

Yeah home modding is a completely different animal than trucks, not to mention a completely different set of tools. I have done some mild stuff to both of the houses i have owned, nothing like your doing thou. I am pretty jealous of your skills and attention to detail to ensure the job is done right!
