The Tahoe, not the GF
I’m one of those guys who has modded his truck so far that I am scared to drive it too far from home because I never know what’s going to explode or leak next. Well this weekend I had no choice. I had to pick up my GTO in FL. I live in OK. The Tahoe was still on Fort Walton Beach FL parked directly behind the GTO.
I drove the GF’s 4Runner from OK to FL. Spent 2 days getting the GTO ready for its next round of mods
(I'm an addict, what can I say) Fire up the Hoe that has been sitting untouched for 2 months (with a flat tire no less LOL) Air up tire and head to U-Haul for a car trailer. Hook up, load GTO and drive that fat thirsty bitch towing 6,000 lbs all the way to Shreveport, LA, spend the night then on to Longview TX where I Drop the GTO/Trailer at East Texas Muscle Cars. Then drive the Hoe another 6 hours back to OK. She did this with not so much as a hiccup. I did get a little nervous while towing, cruise on, going up a grade and the boost climbed to 9psi…yikes.
There’s no point to this post other than to say I'm pretty impressed that it made it with no issues at all. I don’t even want to know what I weighed in at with a 2,000lb trailer, 4,000lb car, me + 3 kids and luggage, jack stands, tool box, hydraulic jack, etc, etc…she was packed down! I’m so proud of her...

haha if you do things right you shouldnt worry man
however, take a one way trip 700 miles away to pick up a car you've never seen and drive it home 700 miles, thats pretty nerve racking at first.
