Help me prove a converter point!!!
#1
Probably the stupiest thread I can ever make but when I tell people I am putting a 3200 converter in my truck, they say my truck will not move under any rpm UNDER 3200.
I've showed them videos and stuff but can you please link me or explain it here that it doesn't work like that. Just something I can tell them so they know.
My Father doesn't think I should put it in my daily driven truck. 15 miles to work, county roads to highway to city driving. Anything else is pretty much the same.
I'm sort of a noob on this but still understand how they work but can't describe it in words.

i have a 3k stall in my truck and driving through the city i dont have to get it above 2500 to get it going and keep it cruisiing around 40 mph...the stall speed is basically when it is when 100% of the torque is applied to the rest of the drivetrain? from what i gather anyway

Plus I have a stock trans cooler but plan on upgrading to a bigger cooler so pre cautions will be taken for the heat.
