I can't wait to build my turbo set up. And if I can't build it for $3000 or less I will be very disappointed till then my research and gathered information is apparently useless. I don't know why I would ever spend time on a forum, or reading books about turbos. Because until I turn wrenches on a turbo build I can't possibly have a clue what I am talking about. Sorry I will no longer post the findings of my research and accumulated knowledge. Only after I accomplish something and have my very own proof will I offer any advice. Reading, gathering, and interpreting information is not possibly a way to contribute to everyone's situation.

Funny thing is I am the only one posting information. Everyone else is just posting STFU or "what and idiot". I really don't understand why I waist my time proving a point because atleast one if not a gang of people just start talking ****. I guess I just hope that some of the people who actually pay attention to what is going on may benefit from the information I have to offer.

Regardless of what everyone wants to say, in my opinion there is no better way to make an LS powered truck much faster over stock then a turbo. If you want to stay mild there is a damn good chance you will be able to do it for $3000-$4000. For me there is no other logical way.

Your not proving a point, and the information you have to offer belongs to a post someone else made....you have yet to contribute any of your own information or real life experience building a turbo engine.

My truck is much faster than it was stock, its not a turbo, and it cost me less than 3k.

To say budget is easy, then say you're sittin cause your budget was too low, by what degree, IDK, not sure where u are at & what's left. Don't stop R&D cause no wrenches are turning. I spent a yr. doin R&D on an engine conversion gathering parts, etc. The motor was solid, but blew 3 trannies, 2 built, supposedly to 9 sec Fbody standards. Does that mean I built too much power? No, just a 60E needs a good builder & the other lessons I learned. But I digress, as this is offtopic for the OP.

I really wasn't gonna respond, but feel compelled to do so. You're not the only 1 posting info, that is your opinion. They post things directed at you cause your past ideas dilute your credibilty. Need I bring up deleting brakes?!?

If you want to further add insult, not to nitpick, but when saying what and idiot, it's an idiot, so why waist your time, waste. Waist is that thing above *****. I'm not an English teacher, & typos happen, but when some (no, it doesn't necessarily mean only you) do it all the time, then talk about educating, see what I'm saying here? As to info, this is the internet, their opinion mixed w/. facts, some b.s. thrown in, it's the net. There's subjective & objective.

I've tested mods to best of my ability, no fancy eqpt. or lab, w/. data, verifying my real world results. Those are facts, not opinions.

It's cool if it is your opinion on LS turbo power is best way, another may want NA, yet another, NOS. More than 1 way to skin a cat. Not disagreeing on the turbo LS power, just sayin. OP wanted ideas, not a pissing match. We're here for an exchange of ideas & to learn. Fun too. Can we get back on track?

Not going turbo for sure. Not ready for that route. Its more than likely going to be engine swap with upgrades. OK, with daily driver in mind, plus the fact it will have a 100 shot on it for when I need it, what cam and stall for:
5.3 with new trans-
6.0 with new trans-

Something that sounds good but will get down the road on the low end and still make power in the midrange and top end.

pretty sure I'm going with 4:56s in rear.
