Yep it is natural gas... there really are not any pipelines cause the wells are everywhere... There are at least 3 of them within 1 mile of my house, IMO it would be too difficult to build a pipeline system to connect all of them.

a pipeline would eliminate all of those trucks..here all the wells once are separated go through the gas meter then are connected to pipelines that go on to compressor stations..trucks seem risky and expensive...

BlackGMC - Maybe you should consider selling your gas hogs and stop contributing to a problem since you don't support the most logical and fastest resolution IMO. Bicycles are a lot more nice than the old BMX days.

Man I am just expressing my opinion on drilling sorry if you don't agree... The best solution IMO would be putting govt oversight back on the energy trading commodities and ending the speculation which is artificially driving up the price of oil (Enron Loop hole)... The Federal Trade commission is supposed to come up with new plan by the end of the year to enforce and limit the price manipulation and speculation. The FTC was commissioned by congress to come up with a solution under the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (Dec 2007)... This could help all of us by the end of the year, new drilling wont help for several years....

I'm just stirring the pot like usual.

I do agree that the same group of millionares trading the same paper barrels back and forth needs to have a limit of some sort. One hand it is just good old american business but when it is something that affects the economy like oil then their needs to be some control. And yes, it is somewhat like a world-wide Enron.
I do not agree on putting a win-fall (sp?) tax on the oil companies. They are not the main problem here. Problems IMO are the gov limiting oil refining and exploration and the speculators. They can speculate to no end because the demand won't change tomorrow, or the next day. It is mostly ******** teaming up and making a killing at the world's expense!
