Well I for one lucked out because of a clerks crappiness. I had a 98 Jimmy when I was in school and it needed brakes all around BAD. I had no money so I had to save up for a bit to get everything. I went in, got the parts and went to the register. It came to like $80- way too cheap for front and rear pads, and 4 rotors. I paid, went out and read the slip- I only got charged for 1 rotor! As long as I get the right junk, those meatheads are welcome to stay as as far as I'm concerned

My roomate worked at autozone over the summer last year. I got to hear all kinds of neat stories about that place. The one that was the funniest was about stuff in the back. We happened to be at our local autozone looking for some of the elusive german castrol. We overheard a customer asking about a battery and if they had it in stock. While my roomate proceeds to narrate what the conversation is sbout, the clerk goes in the back to check stock. Roomate informs me that he is probably just standing around back there wasting time. As my roomate says that the clerk should be coming out from the back with no battery, the clerk does.
He had that store pegged. Amazing what you learn when someone you know works there.

I worked at autozone for 5 years and i saw and did it all. including the 83 corvette trick from a phone 5 feet awayfrom the person that answered. If you really want to get them ask for a water pump for a corvair or a vw beetle. the best had to be a customer that sweared that he would not be able to get the trans fluid for his infiniti at the nissan dealer. HELLO EARTH TO MORON YOU DRIVE A MAXIMA WITH DIFFERENT LIGHTS AND EMBLEMS!!!! but its always good when u get the girls that dont know how to put on wipers and its raining out
