81 model with 9" ford, 8 point cage, and a 427ci sbc to put in it. That is if I ever finish it. Got burnt out and having fun with the truck. Besides, could use the money out of it for other things in life. Been trying to sell it by word of mouth. Not officially listed anything yet.

 

the parts store where we get all of our parts from got a girl that started workin there..she was halfway knowledgable, but i call in there and i say i need 6 sparkplugs for a 1996 cummins diesel, she looked and looked and called in the head guy and i can hear him bustin up laughin as she told him that she cant find sparkplugs for that in the book..

 

I'm surprised they didn't try to sell you some neons. We all know that not only do they look cool, but they add POWA!!

I'm serious...if you get neons, you will get more people wanting to race. Don't question it...it's just science!

 

Maybe I should do that and install some baffles in my exhaust at the same time. I'm pretty sure the fact that most people can hear me coming from 3 blocks away is what screws me outta races, lol.

 

That's ok...even if you have a lopey idle you can con them into a race by explaining how you are only running on 6 cylinders or that you have a terrible miss. Also a good way to make a few extra bucks on a race...

 

I've asked the auto zone ppl here for spark plugs for a cummins before, the looked it up for like 15 minutes before they figured it out.
