Well after a month of debating, I finally closed the deal today on a 2003 Mercury Marauder... black inside and out... loaded... 36k miles - $16.5k
It has dual exhaust and x-pipe from the factory, but the previous owner installed some magnaflows and a KN filter... it is extremely quick... wow...





First on the mods list... week 1...

• Tune
• CAI
• Limo Tint 5% all except windshield
• HIDs
• alarm w/remote start
• complete service - synthetic fluids throughout
• New wires / plugs
• complete detail - exterior - interior - engine bay

week 2 and beyond - system, suspension, 410 gears, Black wheels - 20's, factory spoiler - murder that bitch out....

And chase 2004SSS and I are putting a n20 kit on it with a 75 shot....

I will be sure to post pics in this thread... when i get new mods...

i cant leave anything stock... its a sickness we all share

I like them Marauders. Not as much as the 94-96 Impalas.
Forgot, do u need a frt license plate in CA? If not, I'd wanna lose it if no holes remain. I also wondered why u would replace w/ only w/ 36k miles...til I read about nitrous. Have fun. Oh, when will u be postin the 1st burnout pics? If it doesn't from a stop, time to remove TqMgmt.

I love Marauders! Same mod motor as the N/A 99-01 Cobra's I think? I've been in one, very comfy and had some getup and go too.

 

Those are really nice, i remember back in the day at the high school drags, the local police officers brought his out, could cut a .000 reaction all day long, but it was only running like high 14's if i remember right. Good choice IMO!
