well i got pulled over yesterday going to get my gf.. starts out with a tinted tag cover telling me i cant see ur tag with that on so there is one ticket.lol.. then he says your windows are pretty dark and your windshield is tinted also(i played dumb and said it was on here when i bought the truck thinkin he would just say take care of it) lol knowing i have 5% over 15% on everything and 15% on my windshield.. so he comes back with a tint meter. my windshield came out too be 11% and my driver and passenger windows came out too be 00% haha i just kinda laughed about it and so did the rest of the windows was 00% haha. then another f**king cop comes and asks too search my truck since i had too dark of windows they asked if i was hiding anything since i had that dark of windows.. wtf? so turned out i had too take the tag cover off and go by for them too check it, and with the windows also but i just going to pay the 143$... and the limit in alabama is 32%...

 

search the truck because your windows are tinted "illegal"? that doesn't make no sense, i see illegally tinted trucks all the time

thats what i thought i was ok whatever aint hiding anything.. which they just looked under the seats and **** not in the console nor anything... ive seen ppl around here get searched for some of the stupidest things.


hell no. if i do the ticket gets threw out but im just going to pay the lil 143$s i got 300$s in tint to have it that way..lol..

 

them pullin u over for the plate cover is one thing.... but then "finding" **** to give more tickets on is screwed up.

i would have told them no, they can not search my truck and make them wait for a warrant and everything. but thats me and i like to be a dick

 

well see when i got into the next town after crossing the bridge over the tenn. river it goes back too a 4 lane and he was it the middle facing towards me and he just had his srobes on in the headlights and tails a few cars got over but i was like he just has strobes on sitting there so i stayed in my lane and then about a 1/2 mile down i seen him behind me with blues lights i wasnt speeding nor anything so i thought well maybe he got a call or something so i got over then he cut off a car too stay behind me and i was like wtf?? so pulled over and then he said the tag cover i was like hell give me a flat head and i take that bitch off now and then he started in on my tint but he said he pulled me over for tint.. i was like i passed you doing 70mph while you was sitting there how the hell are you going too tell if my tint was 00%... i was like going that fast passing you while your still everyones tint will look dark... i bought a nissian 240sx 2 yrs ago and the day i bought it i got a tag ticket and no insurance after i even showed them the bill of sale showing i just got the car that day..

 

I think the key is you said the cop "ASKED" to search, which implies consent, if you said yes. If you say no, he probably wouldn't have searched.

I know when I was a cop, if I woulda found anything on a vehicle stop and my PC woulda been window tint, the judge would've thrown in out, and probably me too!

well i mean it didnt bother me too search it lol i got a nitrious bottle and a sweet tea and condoms haha thats about all lol didnt matter to me is why i let him.. i wish they would throw the ticket out without me taking it off... what is the big deal anyways with dark tint?

 

they dont know if your pulling a gun on them, and they dont know how many people are in your car. in your case it doesnt matter but there are lots of crazy/stupid people in this world that they are trying to protect themselves from
