google earth interesting places

Default google earth interesting places

i was looking through google earth, and have seen a few places of interest, part. in europe, more specifically, russia. i dont know much about these places, and thought i would share with you. if anyone else wants to contribute interesting places, please share location and coordinates. i would eventually like to travel to some of these places.

Thats weird. Did you see the small town site place slightly south? Looks bombed out.

Did you look at the picures as well from that town? There's not a building still standing. There's a bunch of small areas of buildings in the area that are nothing but rubble if you scan around and check out the pictures.

i know thats what caught my attention the most. not to mention the town that looks like that star thing on a wigi board

ok, so i went and payed my russian neighbors a visit, and the site that i posted with the bombed out buildings and radar buildings was once part of the soviet union's space program, that station was used to launch track and recover astronauts,as russian astronauts were recoverd on land. at the downfall of the soviet union in 1991, there were the obvious seperatists, and fighting ensued. the town and buildings were destroyed.

I downloaded google earth and checked it out. That town by the star would be a good place to play real lift COD.

lol i was thinking COD as well.

I just had a job offer over there in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, looks pretty interesting! Directly south of those coord.
