Default GF is getting rid of her Sport Trac what should she get?

Must get mid 30s or better mpg, be new, 100,000 mile warranty, EXTREMELY reliable, less than 15K and have decnt looks. Im trying ot steer her towards a new honda civic 4dr since they look nice, get great mileage and well are honda reliable. Anybody have a suggestion of other cars to look at?

Mileage is very important as she drives alot and well my truck gets 8mpg so we take her vehicle or my bike everywhere

A Civic would be a great choice.

Honda's are great. The new civics actually look ok. I actually like the Mazda line for looks and apparently handle well. Too new to know much about reliability. Check consumer guide/report for some info or look at some car mag long term tester results.

Mazda 6

Mazda 3

Best handling car i ever owned was a Mazda + they are tough*ss cars. I got T-Boned by a yota truck doing 50mph and walked away from it.

That said, I'd go for the Honda, they prob have a little better resale.

Actually a toyota corrolla would be a good choice. It does not have all the Hype that a Honda has but the cars are great. I used to have a beater corrolla for my DD, but I sold it. The car went threw hell and back but it always got 30+ and the AC was cold (I live in texas), all in all great car and cheap. That is my .02 cents. Actually I am trying to talk my GF in to getting one after she sells her 3000gt.

Civic. Then you can put a big fart can on it to improve acceleration and milage. hell if you put a wing on it too, it'd probably out run your honda, and your truck.
