i own a 94 civic that i gave to my mom. it has 200K on the clock and is still going strong. only normal replacement parts have needed to be changed. my grandparents had some corrollas and they were always reliable and got excellent mileage.

so either way with those two cars you can't go wrong. but i think the new civic looks better.

Civic Or Toyota Camry. Toyota and Honda have the reliability/MPG game down.

I'm a little partial to the Nissan Altima. Although we have a 3.5 (pretty impressive performer), the new 2.5 (175hp) gets 23-29 mpg. That car has lot's of room also. I'm 6'1" 225 and I drive that car with room to spare. It has more back seat legroom than both my truck and TBSS.

thats what my girl drives. its a toyota in a different body. same motor and transmission as a toyota camery. electric everything, sun roof, a moon roof, nice sterio and all kinds of neat little options(too many to list) 18,500 and its a no haggle price. EVERY scion dealership has the same window sticker and NONE of them will back off of that price. we hit up 4 scion dealerships trying to get best trade in and tried to haggle at every place. awesome bang for buck car IMO.

Ive got to hand it to you guys. You have turbos, strokers, and all kinds of other stuff to make a truck fast but you are getting your (I assume serious) GF or wife in economy cars! It doesnt fly in my house and I make 85% of the income! Maybe Im just a push over.
I would go for the honda though if I had to. If you can swing it, the Nissan is a fantastic car. Its basically the same as my G35 Infinity which I cant say enough about.

how bout a Solstice...decent mileage, vert, they are 20, but with GM going in the tank you could probably be 18 OTD
