Fiddled with the truck today...dropped in the new battery, let it run a bit, drove it around the block until the trans started acting up, it was fun. Picked up some parts from the Chevy dealer that I ordered, including a factory trans cooler install kit, which I'm going to adapt to a trucool 40K, AutoTrakII transfer case fluid (that ****'s expensive), and of course the battery. Picked up some parts for the Blazer too, including the AC low pressure shut off switch, which was leaking. Popped it in, now I just have to sneak in an evac and recharge at work...hopefully that's the only leak, don't want to be sweating this summer...
Speaking of which...hope the AC still works in the Reaper, been sitting for over a year and a half...hopefully nothing dried out and sprung a leak...
DIRTY!

Clean but stained from ATF spraying all over it...

Trans cooler plumbing...

Thanks Tim...felt good to fire it up...Level7 is almost payed off, it should happen within the next few weeks, hopefully before June. Once it's road tested and double checked for leaks, first ride is to the car wash! Man this thing is filthy. It was raining so I was psyched to let it get wet and knock some of the dirt off of it, but by the time I got the battery in the rain stopped
Got your PM btw buddy, thanks!

What the heck is up w/. those lil **** white doors in corner behind Reaper?
I doubt I could pull my HD in w/o hitting my head on door in full up position.

Yep, the turndown came yesterday, and I got the hangers the day after I ordred them! I have a bunch of clamps from Summit, but it looks like the dump pipe will have to be welded...it's not long enough to use a lap joint clamp, and the slip fit into the muffler is too loose for a regular band clamp...plus, I don't want it to be ghetto...
The turndown will work on the muffler with a butt joint clamp, if I have room for it that way, or I can cut the raised part off of the turndown and slip the rest of it into the muffler and use the lap joint clamp that I have...
It'll come together...I just left a message on my buddy Jim's phone asking him if he knows how to weld stainless steel
