True, I think allot of the issue is also the fact that the companies that build blowers don't seem to want to build any high displacement setups for GM. In the ford world there seems to be all kinds of large displacement blowers. It's like for the GM's they build them for stock applications and not wild. Turbos are also much easier for someone to build a custom kit for their application. How about a 427ci with a TVS3600 (just made that up) @20psi. Should be fun, in the turbo world naturally there is a compressor for every application.

Its like 03sierra said though, as far as roots type blowers go, there really isnt a big selection. Even the centrifugals dont have neary the wide range of options that turbos do. Between the different compressor wheels/housings and turbine wheels/housings, you literally can make a turbo/turbos that works near perfectly for anything. And then there is also the whole parasitic loss equation with superchargers. Gotta take power to make power!

yeah i dont care much for those heat pumps, we are talking about power adders here (prochargers and turbos)
