I just have to vent.. Edelbrock intakes( the rpm performer) in ??? does not fit BBC's with dart pro 1 heads... Have to run huge 160kths intake gaskets, and alter every intake bolt hole, so the intake will pull tight to the heads.. Fukrs.. The dart intakes fit, the brodix intake fits, but you have to freaking redesign the edy one.. WTH... (note reason the dart or brodix isn't going on rite now is because they are for a 2 4 set up, currently going to run a single..

If you've EVER had to deal with Edelbrock's tech-assist or customer-assist departments, you'll likely NEVER buy Edelbrock again.

 

Definitely one of those companies that's riding on their name.

 

Their intake gaskets don't fit under my sbc valve covers w/o trimming. Easier to deal with than your situation however

 

This right here will keep me from using one of their carbs when I rebuild the 307 in my 68. I hate companies that won't back what they sell with at least a decent support system.
