I kinda saw this coming, but was in denial about it....I was hoping that Theresa would do the right thing and honor her late husband's wishes to have Jr. in control of the company. I'd like to see Jr. go to RCR, but I think that he'd have a better chance of winning races and championships with Hendrick...he seemed to really like the horsepower under the hood when he ran the last few laps for Bush a few weeks ago

P.S....I still feel that the #3 should go down in history as the only number ever retired from stock car racing, but I'm VERY bias as a lifelong Earnhardt fan.

Remember that commercial a little while back where Jr. was joking about changing his number... Guess maybe he wasn't really joking.

Think about it though, Jr without the name, would you pull for him if his last name was Gordon?

I really am not a Jr fan at all, really wasn't a Senior fan either, but I can appreciate what he did for the sport. I for one am a Tony Stewart fan, and would have liked to see JR sign with JGR, not because I like Jr, but because he and Stewart seem to run well together. I don't personally believe that Jr. is half the driver that his father was, but would like to see what he could do with a good team thats not just trying to make money off of his namesake.

Yeah, I pull for Gordon too.

Right on there. Exactly, his dad did something for the sport. Right now Jr. is just grandfathered in, and hasn't proved he is anything like the name he wears. Like I said, its not his fault. Maybe thats really not his thing, but I dont see how fans can be so naive to the fact. I guess its a money thing though.

I would hedge my bets that he will be driving a red #5 or #25 car next year. He wants a championship and many believe Hendricks can deliver.
