Wow, Not that I think jr is dumb, but his fans are. Daddy must not have been to confident in him. His daddy was a good driver, but I can't see him doing anything above and beyond. He sure isn't living up to the legend. I guess its not about good drivers anymore. Kind of like on here. A lot of followers and a lot of Monkey see, Monkey do.

Nah. There are a lot of Jr. fans around here, and when asked why they like him, most of them refer back to Daddy. Yeah, daddy was great, but Jr's not even close. Fans cant seem to grasp this. Nascar is becoming close to being the WWF or whatever it is now. Its not about racing like it used to be, which really sucks. Think about it though, Jr without the name, would you pull for him if his last name was Gordon?

 

Joe Gibbs is out.. they will not let Budweiser sponsor one of their cars.. I think its between RCR and Hendrick with the obvious choice being RCR but you never know..

Of course, you can tell by the posts in the thread. Don't feel too bad I'm a Gordon fan. Kind of odd how Gordon was winning and winning and winning, and of course when you have a lot of people who hate you, whats the best thing they can come up with about you. Thats right, Your Gay. Nascar can't keep fans if they got a guy winning all the time, that fans hate. Jeff stops winning and people who haven't won in 30 years come out of the woodwork and win. How is that? Everyone is nascar takes a turn in winning after this. What were they doing, screening the screaming fans for the most noise on the drivers they love and hate? It's kind of like ls1tech. It used to be a really good technical site, until the money got to them and the sponsors started running things. Its still ok, but not as good as it was when it had some competition for members.

Seriously though, calling all Jr. fans dumb is crazy.

Jr. has a decent personality compared to some of these jackass little punks that are running in Nascar these days. I think that gets him some fans right there. No doubt about it though a lot of his fans are carry overs from his father. I am a fan of his for both reasons. I also like Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon(when he isn't whining ), Kevin Harvick is ok, Mark Martin(cool old school dude ), and a couple others that I don't keep track off as much.

I also think Jr. is a great driver but, right now might not have the best equipment compared to some other teams. There are times when I feel maybe he could put some more effort forward too since equipment isn't the entire equation.

I've been watching Nascar for probably about 15-20 years now and they've definately changed(some good, some bad).

 

Damn, Joe Gibbs needs to think about that one some.

Yep, RCR would be the natural place you'd think he would go. It'd be nice to see a Childress/Earnhardt combination again.

 

I guess thats a step up from being Gay.
