Default Dodge Srt Vs. 5.7 Silvarado

Hey fellas,

I have a cousin with a Srt Viper Truck that keeps whoopin the Sh**! out of my uncles 5.7 silvarado. Unc has gotten tired of it and wants to add Nitrous or a super charger.
I am new to the trucks, so what do you guys think it will take. Both of the trucks are absolutly stock.
I suggested about a 100 shot of nitrous, is this enough? Any input will be apprciated.

Shouldn't take too much work. Procharger P1SC, headers, 2800 stall, pcm programming, and shift kit. Even better would be to add a Ram Jet intake with SVO 42lb hr inejctors.

Dont really want to get that agressive with it. How does nitrous , cai , headers, and maybe a shift kit sound?

If you're actually talking about an 88-98 truck with the 5.7L then you're going to need a big *** shot or a lot more than that.

If you're talking about the 99-up trucks then they either have a 4.8,5.3, or 6.0 and then that mod list would probably work if your uncle has a single cab and you run a 150 shot.

Yea, I was kind of supect of him saying that it had a 5.7 in it. I told him it was a 5.3 but he lives in texas and I am in al. and I cant prove it to him over the phone. The truck is a 2002 and it is also a extended cab.

Quad cabs are faster....because they are automatic and the 6-speeds in the rcsb's SUCK bad, which makes them slower. I've seen it in person.
