Then your racing a hemi quad cab.... unless you run 13s.. You wouldn't smoke a QC srt-10.

.... the qc's are slower than the rc's. Auto + extra weight < 6 spd and less weight. Check the specs.

 

I understand what you are saying...BUT, the QC are more consistent ask any SRT-10 driver he will agree with me...

IF the rcsb 6spd could get traction and the driver could shift well then definetly it would be faster, but the QC get a lot better traction and the auto shifts fast every time.

 

the srt is a quad cab automatic. Just my 2 cents The single cabs and quad cabs where both slow at the track. I have driven the quad style on street and I wansnt that impressed?

 

You can't say a truck thats weighs more with more drivetrain loss and same exact engine/power is faster than the other because of a 6speed.
If you said the auto is better in MOST cases because the average guy can not do the 6 speed justice...AKA:can't drive for **** then that would add up.

 

even still though man I built auto transmission can shift faster than anybody driving a manual I've ever seen or seen videos of.

Oh and to the genius who said something about the 6 speed being crap in the dodges, it's a t-56 tranny which is the same base as the ones they put in camaros and gtos.

 

Like i said a good driver. AKA...the commenly referred to as Driver Mod.
I know a auto is gonna get better back to back passes unless the guy driving is dead on time and time again.
But, the 6speed has better gearing...more gears....and less drivetrain loss.
So basically if ya can drive it the way it's ment to be driven it can out run a auto.
Also note i will never buy anything with a stick for goin fast as too mch of a bitch for launch and i'm lazy as hell and enjoy my auto.
