Not sure why this hasnt popped up on this forum yet... but its worth talking about.
This thing is pretty insane. They slapped drag radials on it and went 10.86 recently. 707 HP from a forged Hemi that uses the same bore (4.09) as the 6.4, and a shorter stroke.
Pretty wild.

I do daily drive a Chevy, but I am a Mopar guy I guess! They just ain't cheap to go fast in. Then again, speed cost money, how fast do you want to go right?
Hats off to the Mopar guys, that is one fast production car! Especially for how heavy they are!

There are several threads over on the Tech side about.
My hats off to Dodge for doing it right.
Ford had a good design with the retro fast back But IMO they ruined it in the looks dept the last few years.
Although I am a die hard Chevy fan, IMO GM's offerings have been less than stellar in the looks and interior dept lately. I don't like any of the recent changes to the sports cars. I was completely unimpressed with the GTO and now the 5TH Gen camaro. IMO the interiors were horrible on both cars. It's No wonder they didn't sell many of the GTO's... I don't see many of the new Camaro's around either.
I get to rent a few cars through work when I travel and I would take a new Challenger or a Mustang over a 5TH Gen camaro any day of the week. Both cars were much more comfortable inside over the new Camaro.

It's badass for sure, no matter how impractical or unable to put it to the ground. I'm glad to see the Big 3 battle it out in a horsepower war.

Remember crappy Mustang II's, anemic Camaros & whatever turds Chrysler had around back around say, '78 or a little past that? Oh, howbout the Crossfire Injected Vette?!?
I've been telling my brother how I'd buy this car. Who cares if someone thinks it should be faster for 707HP?
It has 707HP from the factory!!! Which is amazing, from thefactory.
I figured when the ZR1 came out w/. 638, only another GM would eclipse that number. likely w/ another Vette or V Caddy. Maybe even a Camaro.
Otherwise, I thought some Ford Mustang.
Never did I see this coming (beating 638HP) from Mopar.

I'm still pissed that Fiat owns them, but this car could be enough to change that for me. I really like direction Mopar has gone looks & performance-wise. GM has power down pat, but their styling direction bothers me. Stingray not bad lookin, redo on Camaro tail lights & frontend too. After that, I don't get too excited.
