Do you think this is totaled?

Did you get the car back yet? If so, are you happy with the work? Your insurance company might also add a satisfaction guaranty if you're not happy. I was almost surprised at the estimated cost for repairs. Then it hit me, in FL, the typical repair may cost less because the average employee makes notably less than their northern counterparts.

Havent got the car back yet. It should be done by next week. We had it brought to a "preffered" auto body collision center. That way we get a warranty on the work that has been done.
I'm not sure what the average worker makes in FL. but I can gaurantee you that there are not a lot of high paying jobs up here.

About the wages difference. I lived in NE Ohio and made about 42K my last year there. Took a similar job with a different company in FL and made under 35K the following yr. That was big to me. There are higher paying jobs in FL, but mostly executive types which pay 6 figures all the time. I ran outta money before running outta school!
Then, when I got a good gig and made great money, I learned how much I preferred the lower pay and walked away from the "big" money.
Hope you get the car back soon, and in excellent condition. Then you can TRADE 'ER IN!
Maybe you should keep it awhile so you won't be "upside down" on another car.
