M phelps got cought with a weed pipe stuck to his lips.
14 gold medals, an american hero, in the publics eye,
got cought doing drugs at a party.
pepsi yanked sponcership faster then you can wipe your ***,
banned for 3 months off the team.
what better way to promote that america has a problem with drugs.
the picture would make a perfect poster.

Legalize it, tax it and help the economy. The government would find a way to screw it up though like everything else....they'd probably use the money to bail out pharmicutical companies cause they would take bit hit on painkillers etc...

i agree but it's not the point that others have done it...me personally i could care less....but the point that everyone is arguing is that he was a role model for children & when parents took their kids to swim practice it was Michael Phelps that they wanted to be like...now all the kids are pulling down his poster & they have the unfortunate task of realizing that nobody's perfect & life sucks even your heroes let you down sometimes

I agree here..All though I don't partake in smoking it, is every where now a days. Hell cops around here don't even do anything to you unless it is a large amount, I am sure in other areas to. But he is def a dumbass for getting caught.. I bet who ever took that pic made big $$$$$$ on it.
