choice # 1
for some reason he changed his ad and left out some information but it seemed fairly decent, its a hefty drive for me to go too but I gotta go up that way to deliver a diff so maybe grab this one and drive it home.
the price is pretty good too but I'm concerned about what i'll end up having to repair.
those rims may look pretty good powder coated on my 2010
and a tonneau cover would be nice...or I could turn around and sell it too!
Choice #2
this one has a lot less mileage on it and seems to be well maintained. Its still a drive to get too, but I could swing that way on my way home tomorrow from delivering. its a bit more money then i've got in hand but I suppose pay day is next week and the ol' line of credit could always loan me that couple of bucks haha
those trucks are both in KM, not miles.
and the purpose behind the truck is just a beater daily driver, to and from work and drive in the winter
my 2010 is perfectly fine, I just want to keep it as more of a fun toy and not have to worry about it

Test drive both of them if possible. Don't think you could go wrong with either of them for the money ( as long as they're mechanically sound). Used truck prices are a lot cheaper there than here, that's for sure.

I ended up getting choice #1
I got him down to $1200 for the truck and $200 for his other wheels on steels with %80 tread left
there was a few minor issues, like the A/C compressor doesnt come on, but whatever...its a winter beater and i'm sure my defrost will work just fine without the compressor. the tires on the 20's were bald but i'm thinking i'll toss on the other rims and list them for sale. the big concern would be the vibration between 20-35mph, he said it started after the u joints were replaced...and he had a receipt for 3 u joints and the carrier bearing...doesnt that drive shaft have a cardan joint as well?
