Here's my list of missed out cars that I wish I had bought.

1.) My all time dream car, 1967 Impala SS 2-door fast back. Great shape and had a 327 to boot. Missed it because I went to look at it one evening and the owner wasn't home. Checked back the next day and the owner sold to some guy like 2 hours before I got there. $3000.
2.) 1968 Impala. Had just gotten a frame off resto. The interior was new and just needed paint. $4000.
3.) 1987 Buick Grand National. I'm still kicking myself for letting rational thinking keep me from buying this car. Contemplated buying it in 1995 for $8000.

well i wouldn't call these deals we passed up on, but someone got a good deal on one of them. back when i was 16, 22 years ago, my aunt died suddenly. she had 3 cars that were consider "something". i had 2 crack-headed cousins that were a couple years older than me, both of them girls. the 3 cars were;

1967 Mustang GT350
1969 Corvette
1976 Trans Am 455 4 speed

My crack-headed cousins sold the garage kept GT350 for $3000. the younger of the two took the '76 TA, and eventually ragged the **** out of it. my parents tried to grab the vette for me, when the state decided to step in and take over the estate, so we lost out on it.
