I was with my girl friend last night on my way to get some ice cream when i got pulled over by a highway patrol for having my front windows tinted, smoked tails, and no front license plate. He didn't even know i didn't have a front plate until he walked up to the front of my truck and looked and goes o ya u don't have a front plate either. He looked all over my truck just looking for things to write me up on. but thats all he could come up with. he just gave me a fix it ticket for the windows. and told me that if i wanted to leave my tail lights and no front plate that it would be fine becuz i probably wouldn't get pulled over again for it. So no big deal. Im glad wasnt for 110mph in a 55mph zone or anything.

 

Damn, I couldn't live in Cali. I've to this day, never had any DPS, police, or sheriff say anything about my illegal tint. But did recently have my Inspection station say something, funny thing is that they've been inspecting it for 6 years with the same tint on there.....weird!!! I have gotten crap for no front plate, so I gave up and put it on.

in my town, no front plates, no regulations on taillights( just use common sense, if you cant see them or they are unsafe they're too dark), obvious state tint law but not enforced, no emissions at all, its great. ive never heard of anything but a tint ticket and thats only when you are a dick to the cop so he just looks for stuff to write you up on.

hell sheriffs wont hardly even write a ticket out here even for street racing

That's funny as i'm reading this thread I got a call from my buddy saying he just got pulled over for tinted windows. damn cops

Haha, Yep it's the CHP that you gotta watch out for in Cali. Just got pulled over a few days ago by county sherrif, He first complimented me on my truck and said I was missing a bullet in my Door handle. Then he took my info and went to the truck. When he came back he asked me if I knew Officer Blah!? (my last name) and I said yeah, he's my cuz. He said "thought so, put a bullet back in that door handle", and then walked away! Haha, that went better than I thought.
