Confused old man email
There is this old man down the street from my house that got a mid 90's suburban and is real excited about it, its nice for what it is but anyways, he sent me two emails today and he was quite confused
"I wonder if you could find out something for me, I don't know how to do this on the computer..
My ford van had a 5 liter engine, and that was equal to 302 horsepower this is for sure because it was even in the manuel...
now my suburban has a 5.7 liter engine, and they are trying to tell that this is equal to 255 horsepower, this can not be right, it just doesn't make sense my suburban is built for towing!
can you find out how much horsepower is equel to a liter,,,all engine wise of course"
"ok but what did was this....if 5 liters equal 302 horsepower then 302 horses divided by 1 liter gives you 60.4 horses in 1 liter that would come out to 60.4 times 5.7 liters would be equal to 344.28 horsepower, probably what they would can a 350...what say.....but you can still have the boy try to figure it out better, but I am sure that I am alot closer to right than those idiots at GM and Chavy, they even both had different answers, I thought they were suppose to be enginers of there particular product, they even both had different answere as to weather my suburban is 2 wheel or 4 whell ABS"
haha sorry for the long post but thought is was funny, he is nice guy, just misread a few things. I helped him figure it all out though!
