I was just going to upgrade the cpu and throw in 2 8800 GTX's
But last time i looked there was a few decent cpu's available, Now it's a lil harder to find a good 939 socket. So i'll need to upgrade my board too. If i'm gonna do that, I might as well grab another gig of ram
if your willing to switch over to intel side.. i just upgraded a friend of mine at works amd system to an e8400 3.0ghz dual core

evga 750i ftw
4gb corsair xms2

I was actually just looking for the server. Activision needs to redo their update procedure and allow a better search for servers and people.
I have v1.0 and V1.7 is available. Says not to update to 1.7 unless i have 1.6 and so on. but can't find any of the older updates.
Might do it anyway and see what happens. I have my stats backed up on the other HD anyway.

Found the updates at http://callofduty.filefront.com/file...84486#Download

Can't believe InfinityWard server pulls the updates off the server like they do.

Found a good deal on a 939 processor so i took it.

Got an FX-53 for $88.94 out the door. Now all i gotta do is pick up a couple Geforce's later.
This should be a hefty climb from the 3500+

climb hell, how this for a jump.
478 with an fsb of 400, 512 L2 to a core 2 duo with an fsb of 1333, 6mb L2.
an HDD 5200rpm, 40 gig, 2 mb cache to a HDD 7200 rpm, 160 gig, 16mb cache.
the wow factor from the performance alone just may be more then i can take.

forgot to add.
processor arived today from newegg.
looking it over, i noticed the intel code for it, SLAPP
