I show my vehicles more than i race them. And some of the things people say as they look at my vehicles makes me laugh.

What's some of the wierdest/funniest things you've heard people say about your truck?

 

um...you have to start.

over here i always here "what is that?" it's a truck douche.

 

Last time I was at the track, someone came up and asked what I had that made the truck so fast. Conversation went something like this:

Him: Damn that thing is fast! What do you have?

Me: 408 and a turbo

Him: Sweet! What else?

Me: Nothing

Him: How is it so fast then?

Me: It's a big engine with a turbo on it.

Him: Oh. *walks away*

 

Did they give you any trouble when you took your truck over to England? Anything special to get it registered?

 

no problems at all. i just had to mod the lights a little bit and spend about $400 a year for road tax

 

TBSS - Today when i parked my car this morning. "Hey, the police are crackin down on loud Magna mufflers, you better watchout." (its stock)

Syclone... oh buddy.

"Is that real"
"I want ground effects like that for my S10"
"Your S10 has an exhaust leak"
"This is one of those Grand National trucks"
"All these Syclones run 9s, I've seen them on YouTube"
"Where'd you get the custom Syclone intake?"
"What was the original color?"

and my personal fav. i was at the track makin runs, and an old guy came up to me with a couple wrenches and said "We need to adjust your 4-link, you were sliding abit off the line" i said "It doesnt have a 4-link". "Sure it does, it took off like a rocket." So i had to show him that it didnt have a 4-link.

 

the guy that had the truck before me had put 'ss-350' badging where the stock tahoe badges would go on the sidetrim (looked completely factory but i've since taken it off)- and was sitting at a light one night and this older guy pulled up next to me asking if it was a real ss-350

 

When I had the hood open at the last drag racing event somebody asked me "if it is stock"

 

At the track. Hood open and guy walks up.

Guy: Is it stock?
Me : No, thinking dude you don't see the blower, then a brief rundown of what it has..
Guy: and you are only running 12's?
Me : little chuckle, yeah well it only weighs 5400#'s.
