Default Chevy SS

Didn't see a thread for it so...

2014 Chevrolet SS First Look - Motor Trend

That black plastic piece in the airdam opening really looks like ****... aside from that I like it. Should be a runner with a cai, exhaust and a tune.

Though I've been waiting for this car since they did away with Pontiac... I can't say that I will own one with a starting price of $38k.

The lack of a manual trans option depresses me.

Thank goodness they are building rear wheel drive V8 cars instead of all this front wheel drive junk. Kudos GM !

I miss my old impala SS clone , luxury , sportiness and power !!

Just because they only mentioned the auto doesnt mean there wont be another ss model with a manual trans, g8 and g8 gt only had an auto, didnt the gxp have an optional manual? either way I would still buy one

Lots to be desired with that car, but some good HP. Cut that ugly *** black plastic out of the front, add some billet, a big *** IC behind it. I dunno what GM is doing. Seems their cars are getting uglier while others are getting cleaner and better looking..

I had high hopes for this... I wish it wasn't so damn generic looking. I was hoping for something along the lines of the cvs-t

I have been waiting for this platform since the demise of the G8 as my wife will need a new car in the near future. However, I cannot get past the front end on the SS. It perplexes me how Chevrolet feels they need to cheapen up the looks of a car/truck with unfinished black plastic. Hopefully they will release an appearance package or revamp the front end second year. As for the rest of the car, love the powertrain, ok with 6spd auto, not a big fan of the interior but don't hate it either.

I dig it....it looks like a Holden car, wait, it is! The last two Holden cars (GTO & G8) never really took off in the US because many did not like the looks of the cars.
