Cheapest gas in the country?!!?

That's because they don't typically sell it below 3500' elevation. Up here (4800') it's considered regular at most all stations and burns fine with out knock because the air is thinner and less pressure. Same reason why we only have 91 and not 93. Good news is we don't have Ethanol blended gas here at most stations

Most of the reason for the cheap price is that it is a BRAND new station and they are trying to get people into there c-store. They're pretty much giving the gas away at there cost and making there money in the store. Most of the rest of the stations in this corner of the state that are not trying to compete with them for gas customers are sell gas in the 1.70 to 2.10 area, like most of the rest of the country, but I'm taking advantage all I can of this cheap gas. I've found myself just out "cruising" because I can, 
I think they will have gas at less then $1 a gallon with in the next couple of week if gas prices keep sliding.
