You could try backing off the brake pedal a little.Unless your torque managment is holdin you back that much i don't see why you can't spin em.Do you ahve traction control on your truck? If you do then thats just another thing that makes it pull timing and so fourth so you can't spin em.

I didn't think to ask before but does your truck have the G-80 in it?If so that could very well be the reason it won't spin off the line are anything like that.If your not sure look in the glovebox and look for the code that says G-80 on it.If you see it then you got the stock crapper....i mean yeah. Its a pile of a unit but it will lock up and make it so your tryin to turn both wheels resulting in a spin less stock 5.3L

Well spinning can be fun but when i ahd my e-fans,cai,exhaust and headers put on with the peg leg lol....I could punch it off the line an hold it spinning at 80mph until i let off.It really woudn't hook up unless i gave it less gas.Which also ment if i did a punch anywhere in first gear it was useless because it would just spin.I found that the only way i could do punches was at 41mph my lowest point in second gear up to about 49 then from 49-55 i had enough power to make it spin so no punches in that area...sOOn i only could race and ahve a chance at a 60mph roll.It kinda sucked honestly.

I have a 5.3 ECSB 4x4 and i can spin them easely the way i do it is power brake it untill the point the truck doesnt go foward anymore than slowly press the gas and around 2500rpm it will start to spin and i just puch it slowly i never tryed on the brakes and then just punch it, and i got a g80 and 265/70/17 tires.
