basically my thoughts exactly. i will say that i grew up with yamaha and after having my king quad 700, i loved it over every grizzly i ever had. everyone that i ride with has already changed over to the RZR, or wants to change to the RZR.

the outlander is an awesome machine...but where the hell do you strap the ice chest!!

I bought a barely used 2009 renegade 800, had 1200 kms (roughly 800 miles) with new tires, full snorkel kit, warn winch, hand and thumb warmers, fender extensions, full skid plates, frame inserts all for 8500 bucks. No complaints about the belt drive
have you ever owned the new xp line of polaris atvs?

I have an 09 renegade, so im kinda biased!! But honestly, i wont own another brand now after having the canam. Sure all makes have some problems and all have the factory lemons. Mine and all of my buddies have been great to us, just remember if it breaks fix it now! A buddy had 2 polaris 850's back to back in less than 6 months and both were claimed on insurance with motor damage and werent near water or ever had water in them. Yea canam lacks in the ground clearance dept but make up for it in design and power. Try to stay away from the first year bikes at all possible, like the new G2 frames on the canam. The G1 had a few problems when it was first released also but they corrected it very fast.
A stock 800r will dyno to the tires 45-48. Most brutes dont even compare to canams' 650. And of the two 850 xps' my buddy had, they dont compare.

But its your hard earned money buy what pleases you, just test ride them all as many times as you feel the need.

Can am to me is by far the best 4x4 fourwheeler with there outlander and side by side with there commander. seem to have more power than anything out there on there fourwheelers. Also if you took the commander x and paired it against the rxr xp and drove the crap out of them day in and day out the commander would come out on top, without braking. But thats just my .02

I had a 2007 grizzly 450. Jet kit, snorkels, 2 inch lift, clutch kit, mudd slinger exhaust, itp 27x12s. I beat the living **** outa that thing for almost 3 years. Submurged it like 10 times never rebuilt it admit after al the torture it smoked like a frait train but still will rip threw mudd and go about 55. I went threw tanks creeks and all the above. Yamaha is a hell of a quad just still in the single cylinder stage. Id like to see them with a V twin setup

Just don't cut yourself short. If you have the need for speed, like we all do on this site. You may want to have the biggest baddest quad out of you and your buddies.
