I would do your drop first and reasearch and read up on a cam first only want to do it once instead of putn one in and not be happy with it

What are your power goals? Plans? Future mods? Lots to consider with a cam.

Few things to consider before u go n do a cam. 1 is any cam will hurt a bit on the low end so to get power back u need a stall.. if u want a cam that has a nice lopey idle the ls6 cam will not be the right choice ( not sayin its a bad cam as its obviously a proven cam). If u are on a budget u will be better off getting a drop kit. Reason being is u have to buy springs pushrods retainers gaskets new fluids and possibly a converter. More downtime on a camswap than a drop kit. Cam is also a more involved project takes more patients and skill than a drop. Its your choice, your money just giving u my. 02. i do have an ls6 cam at the house i can sell u for a great price.
