ive got an 88 accord as my daily....stick shift, crappile of miles but it gets me around town and i can get 30mpg all day long on 87 octane. i agree with the others for reliability and economics its tough to beat a beater honda.

So I got it narrowed to three choices.
1) 1990 Golf GTI - $3000. It's in pretty good shape and has all new suspension and a rebuilt engine and tranny. It looks like those cool little rally cars from the late 80's early 90's with all those head lights in them.
(NO AWD)
2) 1968 VW Bus - $1000. It's kind of a project but it's so cheap I can dump 3-4K in it and get a cool little bust to toy around in. And Rex can rebuild the engine or drop a porche on in there quick and easy
3)1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse - $5100. It's has AWD and a gsx turbo. Looks almost new and has 63K miles on it.

So what should I do?

The bus, duh......like there's a better choice of those 3

Those old VW's do get pretty good mileage though. Tried looking for an old Beetle?

Well i would say go for the bus just on COOL factor but it wouldnt that great for DD more of a weekend cruiser so ill go for the eclipse quick AWD, turbo and not a bad lookin at all. tho it would be funny to see if u could fit Big Dave in that mini bus or in that GTI for the matter... good luck tho
