I am really happy with Avast. http://www.avast.com/
It works great, updates very frequently and it is even free for home use.
I have never had a virus get through to damage my system.

Since I switched my browser to Mozzilla and the add on track me not I have had no problems at all. All I use for virus protection is Norton.

NOD32, updates several times a day, haven't had anny issues since.

Mozilla Fire Fox here with expired Norton, never had an issue, just stay off the **** sites

And if you must, just set up a dual boot into linux. haha


AVG, Panda, and BitDefender are the top 3 in my opinion. AVG is excellent and free.
