I hate to say it but my friend just traded some old bent up wheels for a 1990 Hyundai Excel and this thing is a blast, I've never had this much fun in my truck. I'm on the look out for a beater that I can drive everyday and keep the truck parked while it's under construction, anyone have any ideas on a good one? What beater cars are you guys running?

94 Olds 88. NIce car, all the bells/whistles. Drive it to Chicago to see the grandkids, 3 hrs each way. 127K when I got it now has 165k and runs great. I've had to spend about $300 on it. Can't beat it.

Uh crown vics (ex police are cheap), 80's town cars with 5.0s (love the float), last gen full size impalas with lt1's (ex police had most of the ss running gear, I think), rwd regal/monte/cutlas 305's, or delta 88's with 350,s or the 80's cougar with 5.0 would all be great beaters.

for a beater car I bought up a 1993 mitsu mirage. It got 28 mpg on the highway with the 3 speed auto at 80 mph, I flat blacked the whole thing, wheels and all... that car was awesome! Now it's our woods beater. I'll get a pic of it tomorrow.
Edit: Only ran me 300 bucks too

if i had a nice truck...i dont think i coudl have a 'beater'
if i had to pick a beater car....it'd be a 92-95 civic hatchback VX...just for the MPG and if anything breaks...IF...it will be cheap to replace.
