Here is a video of a procedure. Mine was pretty much exactly like this, at least this is what the 3 before mine looked like.

Well I just got home from the exam. In fact my pupils are still dilated so it is hard to see the computer screen.
Everything went well and I have my lasik procedure scheduled for this Friday.

Excellent, keep us updated on how it goes.
Stock up on eye wetting drops.
The doctor gave me a bunch after the surgery but, they don't last long in those little tiny viles. The ones the worked the best for me were the Alcon Systane drops. They seemed to last pretty well and didn't irritate my eyes like some of the others drops. Make sure to get the preservative free vials.
Good luck man.

Thanks! I'll look for that brand when I go to get my prescript for the antibiotic drops. I'm sure the few drops they give me won't last long. They are going to install some temporary plugs in my lower tear ducts to slow down the moisture drainage.

I can see!!! Well kind of, things are still a little hazy, but it is getting better. The surgery was no big deal at all. It went pretty much like XLR8NSS posted. They offered me a Valium before the surgery, but I didn't feel the need. I have a post-op exam today at 10:00

Woohoo, glad it went good for ya man. Your vision will fluctuate from day to day for a while it'll seem like. Some days you will see great and others you'll be thinking "WTF"
It's normal.
Congrats man
