Default anyone have vintage air experience?

I helped install it on my dads 32 coupe, but that car literally had a flat firewall, and absolutely nothing under the dash. my dad did the wiring so I didn't see that part go together.

looking to finish the AC in my 69 Camaro. should I pay a pro, or tackle it myself? I found a local shop that will piece together a custom kit instead of the "one size fits all" Camaro kit. I like the idea of that since my firewall has been shaved and it already has a controller and compressor installed.

I did see that vintage has a trick little condenser with the drier installed on it instead of the firewall. I want a clean install.

thoughts, suggestions, fears????

the car is caged, and I don't fit in the driver's seat much less under the dash haha. I'd have to pull the seats which would give me a reason to figure out how to lower the seats some.

it would also give me a reason to swap the factory tube fuses for a painless wiring harness.

They will put a kit together for you with a shaved fire wall. It comes out under the right fender.

I ordered one for a Project car my friend is doing for a customer. Its a 67 Camaro with an LS3 crate engine. Has a shaved firewall too. We have not installed it as of yet but they put the kit together specifically for our needs. I would suggest calling them direct and inquiring about your needs.

We're running a "universal" kit from them in my father's 67' C10. I basically told them what I was working with, and they sent me a unit and condenser. I had the hoses made up locally since we are running a factory truck acc drive and compressor. (It has an aluminum 2000 LS1 with 04' LQ4 intake manifold and acc drive)
