Anyone got a handicap or something that's not normal?

I wear hearing aids and have problems seeing in pitch dark lighting situations or walking through dark or dim lit rooms. It sucks not hearing everything or destroying everything in my path when I walk somewhere dark. For example a little kid in a movie theatre that's running around. If he's in my way I won't see him and literally plow him over. Oh well, I feel bad for a moment then tell myself it teaches the little bastard something

man that sucks, I feel for you...people suck, and kids suck too. I have a brain overloads the mouth thing every now and again, and it sucks when it happens on the phone, or to someone you just met. I try to be witty when I can, and love to make people laugh, so when i stutter it takes all the funny out of it. I have always been a big guy too, so in a way it is a handicap, kinda hard to fit in the rides at six flags, booth seats at resturants ect...but I can still pick up a small car

That's tough! By who ever my problem is not a handicap.. Try telling a Cop where you coming from.. Their calling backup & the dogs. But I guess handicap would be visible & not normal would be something you could hide..idk

I hate seeing people laugh or make fun of others with some sort of ailment, especially things they have no control over like stuttering. I have a slight problem with that if I am nervous, but if I take a deep breathe and just relax its fine, but im sure yours is more serious. Does it help any if you write things down first and read from that?

To those here who stutter. Is it true that if you talk outloud to yourself when no one else is around that you don't stutter? I think of the old country singer Mel Tillis. Had a severe stuttering problem but when he sang it was as clean and beautiful as you could ever ask for.

And then singing.......

The question is: What is normal?

Dont sweat the small stuff buddy, people laughing or teasing you are losers.
