no sir the honda was watching from the side lines thats a 700..

but seriously bud.. if you have friends with both bikes... take each one on a weekend ride across hard terrain giving you multiple situations.... that would BEST help you decide what bike would fit your style.

half yall only care about how deep a bike will go or how many times it will pull another bike out.... on the wives point of view, it has to ride good and not throw her around on a trail

i like the foremans and recons also , but the roads better be smooth

I have a lot of experience with polaris and can-am, sold them for two years and can tell you the pros and cons for just about every manufactuer. In my book, you cant beat a polaris. Here are some facts on all to consider. All of them break, maintenance is key.

Honda
3 wheel drive, will never send equal power to all four wheels.
Low on power
foot room is bad
not much underbody protection
working on them is a pain
weak axles unless solid rear and then you have bad clearance
if you get a Rincon, once you get water in the tranny you can forget it
engines are generally reliable

Yamaha
good power
WEAK CV's
still does not have a 4wd system that always sends equal power to all four.
again, a pain to work.
brakes are rubber lines
low storage space
not much underbody protection.

Kawasaki
good power
weak axles
no underbody protection
another 4wd system that doesnt send equal power to all four
activating the 4wd is a pain when on difficult trails

Artic cat
made in canada
kitties dont like water
decent power
has a locker that does work but again is a pain to engage and disengage it
weak cv's
stainless brake lines
weak front diff
no storage

Can-am
great power
light, but that comes at a cost because the frame isnt the strongest
visco lok has to spin in order to lock the front diff
stainless brake lines, but you will be replacing pads alot if you ride in the dirt, mud.
my second pick of best bike

Polaris
made in the USA
full underbody poly skid plate and full steal frame
easy to work on
best in the water, gas tank is in the best position
best suspension
most comfortable
great power also
reliable, just keep up the maintenance and know how to operate them
stainless brake lines
best AWD, true four wheel drive that is selectable on the fly
when you put it in four wheel drive its in four wheel drive unless you break something
leave it in awd and as soon as the rear tires slip a 1/5th of a turn its in four and automatically back out when rear tires do not slip
best steering geometry
has strongest axles along with can-am
most storage available

most belt issues come from the belt either not being sealed correctly or the rider not using low gear.

thanks that helps. i thought the grizzly had locked 4x4 now. they have the 4x4 switch, then the 4x4 locked button that you can control on the fly.

sorry, but i refuse to get a polaris. a friend got 4 of them at once, and ended up parting out 3 to keep 1 running. all of his yamahas and hondas are still runnning circles and they are older bikes. just my 1 experience with polaris and it turned me away 100%.

8,500 out the door would be a good price on a grizzly right? 2010 griz 700 with power steering and camo color. 1.99% financing for 3 years, and 400 cash back with their financing.
