anyone on an ATV forum?

looking for a good 4x4 ATV forum to do a little homework before possibly buying a new bike. i really want one of the grizzly 700 4x4's but i dont want to buy blind. ive always rode yamaha and nothing else. and i havent been in the scene for 8 years now so i dont know what the best on the block is. anyone got a good 4x4 atv forum that isnt brand biased?

highlifter.com

of course as far as mods go, they are biased to highlifter brand stuff, but diverse forums with lots of people in La. and Tx.

There were a bunch of crybabies on Highlifter so i stop goin there.
Thats about the only one i know of..

I have pulled a many a Yamaha's back from our rides.. :bang:

Most of the guys where we ride use Honda's..

i have had yamaha rhino and honda rincon...i know a side by side is different than a quad but still...i will def buy another honda... reliable as fuk! and ride like a cadillac! not to mention all the regular maintance (spark plugs, oil changes, airfilters brake pads etc) is so much easier to work on... just my .02

Honda gets my vote!!!!

and here is what it looked like it was a 2005 rincon 650 (the newer ones are 680 or bigger now)

i know honda makes a reliable engine, but as far as everything else? the only reason i can figure honda is #1 sales world wide is because they have reliable engines and are cheap. but the power output and everything else was discouraging...atleast thats how it was when i quit paying attention.

so for the guys who still do it. in the 4x4 world. what would the top 3 bikes be in your opinions? where does the grizzly 700 eps sit on that list?

well performance wise the new rincons dont fall off as much... my cousins 07 680 rincon would spank his friends brute force 750, completely stock. and im sure in 3 years they are only better. anyways out in the mud i pulled quite a few yamahas and kawasakis pretty much any other quad because they all would get the belt wet.. and well honda is the only one that makes a true shaft driven bike. so u will never worry bout havin belt slippage cuz it dont have one lol.. but anyways speed is not my concern on a 4x4 as u dont go past 20 mph in the trails...

but u know there is a bike that is a 4x4 and is fast as fak lol.. check out the can am renegade!! this bike is like a sport quad but its a 4x4.. it will pretty much spank anything lol.. high dollar bike though at least compared to other bikes

depends on what you want.

I use my ATV for hunting, deer and dove. I want something small but capable, I ride a 2008 Honda Rancher 420 4X4, the fuel injected motor is powerful enough, foot shift is reliable. I added 26" mudlites to cope with the big washouts at my camp. With front and rear baskets there's plenty of room for me and the GF.

but I don't "mud ride" (often), mainly run down gravel roads at the camp and down established trails checking feeders, stands, etc. I'm not winning any mud bog competition or any speed contest against big bore bikes, but it's more than adequate to strap a weed sprayer or seed spreader to take care of food plots.

I'm on exriders.com, thumpertalk.com.. Not alot of 4x4 bikes, mostly sport bikes.. Im have to whore a picture now  BTW honda IMO is the gm of the atv's. They are next to none.. RIDE RED

Gotta say honda is hard to beat, Ive beaten the shit out of my 03 foreman es. Ive sunk it more times than I can count and all you have to do is tilt it up and let the water drain out of the exhaust pull the plug crank it a few times, put the plug back in and she fires right up.

I personally life the polaris efis if I got away from honda. The belt slip issues are non existant on my friends bikes. I belive that is a problem from back in teh day that people sitll believe is a problem.

My next purchase will be a ranger, I want to be able to ride comfortably with someone else and carry coolers in the back.

Get a Honda Rincon 680 Fuel Injected and you wont have any problems I had a Brute Force 750 V-Twin and it was a good bike but the ride really sucked Id go with a Honda anytime best bang for the buck.
