Looking to buy my first vette, a c6 so looking to some input as to how much you paid, what package and overall experiences or issues you've had with it. Thanks fellas

I had a really sharp '69 a while back and a beater of an '80 before that. But neither of those are C6's, so...

You might have to go suffer through a 'vette owners forum. And get ready for all the "midlife crisis already?" jokes from your friends. I got to hear 'em all and I had my '69 when I was only in my early 30's.

every time I got the itch they come out with a better looking generation that i'm not willing to pay for. aka as soon as the c6 came down in price used, they made the c7 and the c6 wasn't as appealing to me all the sudden...so I went with old school muscle so I wouldn't feel the need to keep up with the latest and greatest.

I don't know how accurate those pictures out there are of the new upcoming model but I am not digging it at all. Seen what is thought to be the new ZR1 tho and that looks so sweet! Only in my dreams tho

Every time a new gen comes out I find them hard to like, starting with C4's. Never liked those and still don't. After a while C5's grew on me. I'm still having a hard time liking anything newer. The performance is awesome, the looks.....eeerrrhhhh but that's just my opinion.

I'd be just happy as **** with a 58~62 completely redone with modern suspension and drivetrain.

Hell, I'd be happy if I could afford an 82 crossfire with 600,000 miles on it right now. lol
