it says it provides the software to limit it to 70

that used to be an option when i used to build the NBS trucks

it's probably something you take to the dealer and they flip a switch or plug it in and turn it on, it's there, and in the truck, but not active unless set to be. 70mph limit would actually be dangerous.

I think larsy87 is correct.

It's probably software or something you plug into the OBD II plug to limit the top speed to 70 MPH....completely optional. Giving the truck to your teenage kid on date night or fleet vehicles would be ideal for something like this. Actually a good idea if you think about it.

Agreed. It makes it much easier for ANY truck to easily be switched so it doesn't have to be completely reflashed by the dealer. Had to be a PITA for companies that chose the governor and then decided later they didn't need it or vise versa. Makes life much easier.

I'm wondering if it's a handheld.

70mph is pretty weak for a governor, and i too thought 98 was bad, would be a good option for a heavy footed teenager, lol

I just wish trucks had the stance that they show in that build picture. It wouldn't look like that without a 3/5 drop!
